The central ruling partys initiative Pradhan Mantri Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Yojana, in short PM UDAY, promised to regularise Delhis 1,731 UACs that were eligible for the scheme. In a decision that will benefit about 60 lakh people in poll-bound Delhi, Union Cabinet today approved an Ordinance to regularise 895 unauthorised colonies which have come up till June 1 this year.
